Facebook photos land Eden Prairie kids in trouble
In Eden Prairie someone reported pictures of student athletes having pictures of them with drinks in their hands on facebook. this resulted in the students having to have meetings with their deans and getting suspended from the sport they play. i think this is invasion of privacy and its not something the school should be handling its something the parents should be taking care of. and i also think its ridiculous that someone has snitched on them. it doesn't benefit anything.
Which court standard did someone follow or break in your article?
Do you agree with the decisions in your article? no i dont think school should be invovled with personal life outside of school.
What do you feel should have been done in this instance? the parents should have handled it.
What do you feel will be the future of rights in today's digital age? they will probably start censoring texts
What rights do you have inside of school? none
What rights do you have outside of school? freedom of religion, pettition, speech (kinda)

O.j. simpson was beaten in prision
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/02/15/oj-simpson-beaten-unconscious-prison-attack_n_823504.html
O.J. simpson claimed that while he was in jail he got beat up by another prisoner. This being a big deal, it was the talk around the nation for a little bit. recently, a jail gaurd reports that O.j. simpson was never attacked or even came close to being attacked while in prision. But the gaurd was lying and O.j simpson did in fact get attacked, the jail gaurds wanted it to be a secret and didnt want to seem like prision was out of control.

Deer smashes through window
http://www.kare11.com/news/article/906922/14/Deer-smashes-through-couples-bedroom-window
A couple woke up to a deer smashing through their bedroom window Saturday morning. the deer ran through the house frantcly. there was blood all over there bathroom from the injured deer.
The DNR says the deer lunged toward the windows because it probably saw its reflection, similar to when a bird flies into a window. i feel bsd for the deer because he was probably in a residental area because there is less and less forest space every year.

Abbott nurse accused of stealing painkiller
http://www.startribune.com/local/115663559.html
Registered nurse Casareto, 33, of Forest Lake, is charged in Hennepin County District Court with theft of a painkiller which is a felony. The theft happened Nov. 8 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, during a patient's surgery for kidney stones. this is not okay. that poor man was suffering just because of that selfish nurse who was obviously not thinking about the pain that man was going through.

Meet the dog who knows 1,022
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/41489081/ns/today-today_pets_and_animals/
a dog named chaser knows 1,022 nouns. he can pick out what you tell him to thats in a pile amound other things. he knows how to find items with spongebob on it. the owner will say fetch spongebob and chaser will come back with a frisbee disk with spongebob on it. border collies are very smart and they learn from practice and repition. so the owners practice with their dog constantly and teach him the words so he knows them well. this to me, is amazing and it takes a lot of pacients for the owners to take the time to work with their dog and teach him the nouns and phrases.

Girl is deathly allergic to cold.
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/41466518/ns/today-today_health?gt1=43001
A 9 year old girl who is allergic to the cold. she can never play in the snow, she cant eat anything thats below 70 degrees, she cant take her dog on walks and she cant enjoy the beauty of winter. If her allergic reaction is untreated she could die. she lives in new york.
my opnion on this article is that if this girl is so deathly allergic to the cold then she should move somewhere warm so she doesnt have to deal with the risks of death.

The best and worse ads of 2011 Super Bowl
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/parenting/detail?entry_id=82528&type=entertainment
These is always a big hype about the super bowl commercials. Many people only watch the game just to see entertaining advertisements, and decide which ones are the best. Companies spend a ton of money just so they can air their products during the big game so millions of people can hear about what they are trying to promote. Promoters spend 3 million dollars just for a 30 second add. the 3 best commercials were; Doritos "house sitting", Chrysler "imported from" Detroit. and Volkswagen "the force" the worst were Mini " cram it in the boot" Livingsocial.com "it changed my life", Groupon Timothy Hutton/ Tibet ad. In my opinion the Doritos " house sitting" ad was the best. because it had a lot of humor and people like funny things.

Kids weight increases the more mom's work.
research shows that the more a mom works the more weight their child gains. At the age of third grade it was about a 1-pound gain for every six months the kids mother worked. The weight gain was cumulativethe connection between the two became stronger as the kids got into fifth and sixth grade in the observance of 900 children. I belive this research because i know that when my mom is working late i dont make dinner and i just snack on food and then if she gets home late we just go grab some fast food. Also that childern with unempoyed moms watch less tv than childern with moms who work a lot. i think that this is a good thing to be researched and that it is a correct statement.

Fargo school bus driver arrested for DWI while on the job
A bus driver in Fargo, north dakota was arrested after he crashed into a snow bank on his way to pick up students after school. the man was swerving all over the road and it was a suspuscion of drunk driving. officers say the man was not acting normal and he was clearly under the influence of alchol. to me this is rediclous that he was about to pick up 40 kids from school while driving drunk. The fact that he would put all of those kids life in danger.
