A Girl’s Nude Photo, and Altered Lives

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/27/us/27sexting.html?pagewanted=1&_r=2&nl=todaysheadlines&emc=tha23&adxnnlx=1301230819-BKGV/XakszFCxULA9RWy3g

i feel really bad for this girl but then again it her fault. she shouldnt have done it, but she might have been pressured into it. it is super immautre of her ex boyfriend to have sent it to everyone just cause he was mad and they broke up. charges should be pressed because that like harassment and that girl could probably be scard for life with all of the bullying. She will robably never forget about what happened and how there was a naked picture of her going around.

junkyard viedo

This video was about men at a junkyard have a time where they all do palliates. I think that's a good idea because they need time to relax their mussels since they are lifting things all day. something i liked about this video is the camera shots and the angles, for some reason it makes me feel like i am actually there. I also liked how there was some humor in the interview.

He wasn't feeding her or anything the goose just followed him around. The goose even flys next to him while he is riding is scooter.I think that this is super cute and heart warming.

BUSY HALLWAY AT HIGH SCHOOL

KID GETTING SLAMMED INTO A LOCKER

GROUP OF KIDS FOLLOWING A BOY ONCE HE GETS OFF THE BUS AND HARASSING HIM.

GIRLS LAUGH AND MAKE FUN OF A GIRL PASSING THEM IN THE LUNCHROOM.

CAMERA ON REPORTER
A-ROLL
The high school hallways can be a struggle getting through when you are constantly being bullied. The big question is why do teens bully?

“I THINK TEENS BULLY FOR SOCIAL STATUS AND TO SEEM INTIMIDATING”

“I THINK BULLIES ACT THE WAY THEY DO BECAUSE THEY HAVE PROBLEMS AT HOME AND THEY TAKE THEIR ANGER OUT ON INNOCENT PEOPLE.”

When you see someone being bullied many times you don’t see anyone stepping in and standing up for them.

“PEOPLE DON’T STEP IN WHEN THEY SEE SOMEONE BEING BULLIED BECAUSE THEY EITHER DON’T WANT TO BE MADE FUN OF OR STEP OUT OF THEIR COMFORT ZONE”

“WHEN I SEE A STUDENT BEING BULLIED IN THE HALLWAY I USUALLY JUST WALK BY AND ACT AS IF I DON’T SEE IT.

We all wonder when will the bullying stop.
But we can never be sure of when it will truly end.

“ BULLYING SHOULD BE STOPPED ONCE IT STARTS BECAUSE ITS ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE”

“SOME PEOPLE ARE SCARED EVERYDAY THEY COME TO SCHOOL BECAUSE THEY ARE ALWAYS BEING BULLIED IN THE HALLWAYS WETHER ITS INDIRECT OR RIGHT IN THEIR FACE.”

Bullying is an everyday thing for some people, if you see someone being bullied do the right thing and lend a helping hand. Reporting for the FLASH this is Devony  Carlson.

Active and Passive quiz

i took the quiz and the only one i got wrong was the last one. i thought it was pretty easy because how i think of it is passive is when its not talking about someting in detail for example: it,that, the.

interview

interview #1 i asked a 17 year old boy.

Q: why do you think people bully?
A: I think people bully for social status or to look cool and seem intimadating.
Q: How come when people see someone being bullied they dont do anything?
A: People dont do anything when they see someone being bullied because they dont want to step out of their comfort zone, or maybe be bullied too.
Q:  When does bullying get taken too far?
A:Bullying is taken too far when it first starts, bullying isnt okay no matter what.

interview #2 i asked a 16 year old girl.

Q: do you think bullies have hard lifes at home?
A: it depends because a lot of people say that bullying is caused by bad home life but i honestly think it can be controlled and its a choice the bully makes.
Q: Have you ever been bullied?
A: yes, girls are very mean. it may not be physical bullying but sometimes verbal bullying hurts more.
Q:  When does bullying get taken too far?
A: anything related to bullying is too far.

interview #3 i asked a teacher.

Q: how often do you see bullying?
A: i see it all the time in the hallways but most of it is verbal bullying.
Q: what do you do when you see someone bullying?
A: I usually tell them to knock it off and get back to class, or i dont say anything.
Q:  When does bullying get taken too far?
A: when it starts.

UK player gets red card for tackling streaker

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/03/08/sportsline/main20040674.shtml?tag=stack

In london a man ran across the feild in nothing but a lime green thong and a black wig. the team player tackled the man so the he would be caught by the security so the fans would not have to see that anymore. During this the player got a red card in a tie game that was 1-1 for violent conduct. i think this is extreamly unfair because the player did it so little kids at the game would not have to see something like that. and he had to do it because the security guards obviously werent doing a good enough job.

Sarah Palin's parents said they fear for the safety of their daughter and her family, and that they sleep with guns as a precaution. a recent incident in where a man from Pennsylvania sent the family and and family friends copies of the receipt of a gun he bought and a one-way ticket to Anchorage, where the family lives. I think its good that the family is bring safe and concered and they would be prepared if somethjing were to happen.

High School Basketball Star Dies on Court

Celebration turned to tragedy Thursday night at a Michigan high school when 16-year-old Wes Leonard collapsed on the basketball court after scoring the game-winning shot in overtime, helping his team clinch a perfect season. they thought it was possible heat exhaustion, the cause of death still remains unknown. I think this is really sad because he was so young and it was after an exciting moment of his life.

interview questions

im going to interview a girl student, a boy student and a teacher. the questions im going to ask are: Why do you think people bully? why dont people step in and say something when they see someone getting bullied? when does bullilng get taken too far?

5 things i learned

I learned that you want to make the person your interview feel comfortable from the start. I also learned that when you are interview someone you need to ask them questions that they can relate to, not just random stuff. As an interviewer you need to be paying attention and make sure you dont ask the same question twice. Also if there is a point where there is awkward scilence you need to find a way to fill that in. and finally i learned that you should know what questions your going to ask before you ask them.

Study finds that U.S. teens are having less sex

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2011/03/03/teens-having-sex-study-finds/

A federal study released thursday that teen sex has decreased in the past decade, but doesnt tell a reason why. The study, based on interviews with approximately 5,300 young people between the ages of 15 and 24, shows a decrease in sexual contact from 78 percent to about 72 percent in the last 10 years.
I think the reason why teens are having less sex is because health classes are teaching more and more about STD'S, and teen pregnancys.

Facebook photos land Eden Prairie kids in trouble

In Eden Prairie someone reported pictures of student athletes having pictures of them with drinks in their hands on facebook. this resulted in the students having to have meetings with their deans and getting suspended from the sport they play. i think this is invasion of privacy and its not something the school should be handling its something the parents should be taking care of. and i also think its ridiculous that someone has snitched on them. it doesn't benefit anything.

Which court standard did someone follow or break in your article?
Do you agree with the decisions in your article? no i dont think school should be invovled with personal life outside of school.
What do you feel should have been done in this instance? the parents should have handled it.
What do you feel will be the future of rights in today's digital age? they will probably start censoring texts
What rights do you have inside of school? none
What rights do you have outside of school? freedom of religion, pettition, speech (kinda)

O.J. simpson claimed that while he was in jail he got beat up by another prisoner. This being a big deal, it was the talk around the nation for a little bit. recently, a jail gaurd reports that O.j. simpson was never attacked or even came close to being attacked while in prision. But the gaurd was lying and O.j simpson did in fact get attacked, the jail gaurds wanted it to be a secret and didnt want to seem like prision was out of control.

Deer smashes through window

http://www.kare11.com/news/article/906922/14/Deer-smashes-through-couples-bedroom-window

A couple woke up to a deer smashing through their bedroom window Saturday morning. the deer ran through the house frantcly. there was blood all over there bathroom from the injured deer.
The DNR says the deer lunged toward the windows because it probably saw its reflection, similar to when a bird flies into a window. i feel bsd for the deer because he was probably in a residental area because there is less and less forest space every year.

Abbott nurse accused of stealing painkiller

http://www.startribune.com/local/115663559.html

Registered nurse Casareto, 33, of Forest Lake, is charged in Hennepin County District Court with theft of a painkiller which is a felony. The theft happened Nov. 8 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, during a patient's surgery for kidney stones. this is not okay. that poor man was suffering just because of that selfish nurse who was obviously not thinking about the pain that man was going through.

Meet the dog who knows 1,022

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/41489081/ns/today-today_pets_and_animals/

a dog named chaser knows 1,022 nouns. he can pick out what you tell him to thats in a pile amound other things. he knows how to find items with spongebob on it. the owner will say fetch spongebob and chaser will come back with a frisbee disk with spongebob on it. border collies are very smart and they learn from practice and repition. so the owners practice with their dog constantly and teach him the words so he knows them well. this to me, is amazing and it takes a lot of pacients for the owners to take the time to work with their dog and teach him the nouns and phrases.

Girl is deathly allergic to cold.

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/41466518/ns/today-today_health?gt1=43001

A 9 year old girl who is allergic to the cold. she can never play in the snow, she cant eat anything thats below 70 degrees, she cant take her dog on walks and she cant enjoy the beauty of winter. If her allergic reaction is untreated she could die. she lives in new york.
my opnion on this article is that if this girl is so deathly allergic to the cold then she should move somewhere warm so she doesnt have to deal with the risks of death.

The best and worse ads of 2011 Super Bowl

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/parenting/detail?entry_id=82528&type=entertainment

These is always a big hype about the super bowl commercials. Many people only watch the game just to see entertaining advertisements, and decide which ones are the best. Companies spend a ton of money just so they can air their products during the big game so millions of people can hear about what they are trying to promote. Promoters spend 3 million dollars just for a 30 second add. the 3 best commercials were; Doritos "house sitting", Chrysler "imported from" Detroit. and Volkswagen "the force" the worst were Mini " cram it in the boot" Livingsocial.com "it changed my life", Groupon Timothy Hutton/ Tibet ad. In my opinion the Doritos " house sitting" ad was the best. because it had a lot of humor and people like funny things.

Kids weight increases the more mom's work.

research shows that the more a mom works the more weight their child gains. At the age of third grade it was about a 1-pound gain for every six months the kids mother worked. The weight gain was cumulativethe connection between the two became stronger as the kids got into fifth and sixth grade in the observance of 900 children. I belive this research because i know that when my mom is working late i dont make dinner and i just snack on food and then if she gets home late we just go grab some fast food. Also that childern with unempoyed moms watch less tv than childern with moms who work a lot. i think that this is a good thing to be researched and that it is a correct statement.

Fargo school bus driver arrested for DWI while on the job

A bus driver in Fargo, north dakota was arrested after he crashed into a snow bank on his way to pick up students after school. the man was swerving all over the road and it was a suspuscion of drunk driving. officers say the man was not acting normal and he was clearly under the influence of alchol. to me this is rediclous that he was about to pick up 40 kids from school while driving drunk. The fact that he would put all of those kids life in danger.
